I was driving my four children home from school and there was a large truck ahead of me and going oh so slow – you know the frustration. So I ventured to the left to see if the way was clear and it was, so I started out to pass him.

Suddenly I heard a very loud “NO!”

Shocked the daylights out of me, and I pulled back in behind the truck. What I didn’t know was just beyond the truck there was a dip in the road and down in that dip was a car coming my way. It would have been a head-on collision.

I don’t know how I ever made it home, I was so shaken. Shaken …and grateful. Who was it who shouted “NO!”? God? An angel? I’ll never know. All I know is that we were spared a horrible ordeal.

I’ll never forget it. I feel the jitters just writing this.
